| Ham Redibase | 4 teaspoons | Low Sodium Ham Base |
| dried green split peas | 1 lb. | |
| cooked ham pieces | 2 cups | |
| celery, diced | 2 ribs | |
| parsley, chopped | 3 Tablespoons | |
| tarragon, dried | 1/2 teaspoons | |
| carrots, diced | 1 cup | |
| onion, diced | 1 cups | RC Roasted Onion Base |
| leek, white only, chopped | 1 | |
| dry sherry | 2 Tablespoons | |
| pepper | to taste | |

Directions: Add split peas to stock. Bring to a boil. Lower to a simmer and simmer until peas are soft. Remove from heat. Allow to cool 10 minutes. In very small amounts (1 cup at a time), place mixture in blender and puree 2 seconds. When all the soup is pureed, put back into soup pot. Add celery, parsley, tarragon, carrots, onion and leeks. Simmer 10 minutes until vegetables are tender. Add ham, dry sheery and pepper. Heat through and serve.
