Potato Ham Soup

Ingredients Amount Variations
potatoes, diced, cooked 1 cup  
onion, diced 1/4 cup RC Roasted Onion Base
celery, diced 1/2 cup  
pepper, ground 1/4 teaspoon  
water 2 cups  
milk 2 cups  
Ham Redibase 4 teaspoons Low Sodium Ham Base
flour 2 Tablespoons
butter 3 Tablespoons
ham, cooked, diced 1 cup
   
     
   

Directions:
Cook potatoes in water and set aside.

Combine Ham Redibase and water in saucepan and bring to a boil to make stock. Make sure Ham Base is blended well. Remove from heat.

Melt butter in soup pot. Add onions and sauté for 2 minutes. Add celery and continue to cook for 1 minutes. Add flour to form roux.

Slowly add Redibase Stock to roux mixture. Blend well. Cook to thicken.

Add ham and potatoes. Add pepper to taste. Heat, but do not boil. Serve
