| mushrooms, sliced | 1/2 cup | |
| onions, minced | 2 T. | |
| spinach, frozen, thawed | 1/2 cup | |
| lemon juice | 1 T. | |
| pepper to taste | ||
| heavy cream | 1/2 cup | |

Directions: Remove from heat and add cream if desired. This sauce is excellent with lighter meats and vegetables. It usually will not hold up to beef or pork. |
