| Lamb, cut into 2 inch cubes | 2 lb. | |
| margarine | 2 T. | |
| water | 2 1/2 cups | |
| Lamb Base | 2 tsp. | RC Beef, Veal, or Pork Base |
| thyme, dried | 1/4 tsp. | |
| medium potatoes, halves | 3 | |
| peas, frozen | 2 cups | |
| mushrooms, sliced | 1/4 lb. | |
| light cream | 1 cup | |
| flour | 1/4 cup | |
| salt & pepper | to taste | |

Directions: Skim off excess fat. Add potatoes and onions. Simmer covered, 30 minutes. Add peas and mushrooms. Simmer covered 15 minutes, or until lamb and vegetables are tender. Blend cream into flour; stir into bubbling stew and boil 1 minutes, stirring constantly.
