| stewing veal, cubes | 4 lbs. | |

| vegetable oil | 1/4 cup | |
| RC Veal Base | 2 T. | RC Beef or Pork Base |
| water | 4 cups | |
| white wine | 1/2 cup | |
| carrots, diced | 2 | |
| celery, chopped | 1 stalk | |
| parsley | 2 T. | |
| Bay leaf | 1 | Ground Bay Leaves |
| pepper, ground | 1/8 tsp. | |

Directions: When veal is browned, add onion and garlic to pot. Stir and cook for 3 minutes until onions are limp, but garlic is not browned. Add veal cubes to pot and add water, Redibase and white wine. Bring to a boil. Lower to simmer and cover with tight lid. Simmer for 1 hour or until veal is almost tender. Add carrots and celery. Cook 10 minutes more. Add all seasoning. Cook 15 minutes more. Remove bay leaf. Serve. |
