| Beef Redibase | 4 tsp. | RC Beef, Veal, Lamb or Pork Base |
| water | 4 cups | |
| onion, chopped | 1 large | |
| parsley, chopped | 1 T. | |
| thyme, dried | 1 tsp. | |
| bay leaves | 4 | Ground Bay Leaves |
| flour, all purpose | 2 T. | |
| red wine, dry | 2 cups | |
| potatoes, peeled, quarters | 4 large | |
| carrots, cut into 3/4 inch pieces | 3 large | |
| green beans, trimmed, halves | 1/2 lb. | |

Directions: Add potatoes and carrots to stew. Simmer until meat and vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes. Add green beans and simmer until beans are tender and gravy is slightly thickened, about 10 minutes. Transfer stew to large bowl. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve. |
